Culture Club. Not the band with Boy George in it, but the trendy club in Ghent, the city I live in. It is one of the places I regularly visit, when my feet feel like dancing. It has beautiful architecture, it generally has a good atmosphere, and the music ranges from excellent niche to popular house. If you are into clubbing, you probably know the place already.

It is hard to track down the explicit origins of the Culture Club, and some of the history is strange at least. They still refer to the original Eskimo parties on their website, but the company that organized those events got bankrupt. What happened? I keep hearing about people being refused at the doors without there being an obvious reason, but I have never experienced anything like it.
