  • Use the big "+" button to add a library. A default library name is chosen. Select the library, double click the library name to rename it.
  • Export the albums you want to import into CCTunes with iTunes to an XML playlist. Use the left big "+" button and browse to the XML file to import it.
  • When some of the albums don't have Artwork, click on the "Artwork" tab and "Search Amazon". You get an overview of the available images for the album. Selecting one will update your library.
  • If you want to change the way an album is sorted, you can change the Sort key. Compilation albums have a sort key starting with ZZZZ so they appear on the end.
  • Double click an album to play it in iTunes. It will be added to the Party Shuffle smart playlist and start playing.
  • Choose "Copy to iTunes" from the file menu to copy the artwork back to iTunes, so that the mp3's are updated with the correct Artwork.
  • To export the entire library on a web page, switch the preview to the style you wish to use (peephole or list), and choose "Export Library" from the File Menu. Designate a folder and all your HTML files and images will be in that folder. The starting HTML file is the one called after the style you have choosen. You can use the UI View to export but it will generate a lot of JavaScript messages in your resulting HTML view.
  • Delete an album by choosing delete in the Edit menu while the focus is on the Library view. Delete a library by choosing delete in the Edit Menu while the focus is on the Library table. Be warned! There is no undo.
  • When an album is selected you can fill in the description in the description tag and publish it using the "Publish" button there. CCTunes will mail it according to your preferences. This can be very interesting to use with flickr, like I do, to set up an automatic blog.

The results are, depending on the stylesheet, visible here or here or on blogger.com.
