News.
April, 24,
2008 - Anybody still there? I've
updated the site. If you're still
interested you can follow my stream of
professional consciousness in the form of
a tumblelog. It's all the rage these days
and more than that, it's an easy way for
me to give you a feel of what I'm doing
at the moment. The old version of the
site will still be up for a while at
[ old
website ], but not
for too long anymore.
August, 7, 2007 - So what? You
thought we died? The seasons are fucked
up, but we're still alive and kicking.
Take for now, the new theme, taken from
[ a
balloon flight I did for my
birthday ]. Expect
some updates on the projects I was
working on while you were refreshing your
rss-feed soon. Tada!
September, 25, 2006 - Summer
lasted even until last week. It was
perfect: the only period weather in
Belgium was bad I was enjoying San
Fransisco summer weather. This picture is
a detail of the beatiful De Young museum.
More pictures at [ flickr ]
if you're interested.
August, 23, 2006 - The WWDC was
great. Read some things about it in my
personal blog, like [ this ]
or [ this ]
July, 31, 2006 - I am going to San
Francisco, I'll make sure not to wear any
flowers in my hair because that is out of
fashion these days. Extended - or not so
extended - coverage is to be expected, on
this site, when I get back. Enjoy the
rest of the fantastic summer in Belgium
while I'm away, California here I
come!
June, 21, 2006 - Winter felt like
so long I did not even notice the
existance of a thing called "spring".
But, finally: summer is here. This summer
will bring the Leopard version of OS X,
and I will be there [ when
the show happens ].
Hopefully this will be an interesting
experience, since it is rather
pricey.
March, 4, 2006 - [ There you
go ]: my
experience on fosdem. This one is signing
of for a week, gone skiing. Enjoy!
February, 12, 2006 - Not as
stylish as it ought to be, I admit, but
still: a banner for fosdem 2006. If all
goes well, and time permits, I should be
attending there. I will probably write a
review like I did in previous years.
December, 20, 2005 - The picture
was taken when flying over the Andes
mountains. I really want to visit them
for real, once. Not just fly over them I
mean.

TechnoBlog ] A
technoblog with a sample application
making sure you never need that hotkey
feature ever ever again. Promised.
September, 26, 2005 - Somehow I
always seem to long for the next season,
like I am tired of any season after three
months. So when it was still dark this
morning when I woke up, for the first
time since long, I was excited! Autumn is
here. We are going to move to a new house
this season! We are going for long walks
in the woods. The picture in the
background was from one of the walks we
did last year. Smell the humidity! Enjoy
the season.
August, 14, 2005 - [ CCTunes ]
Version 0.9 is released! Built on Tiger,
compatible with Panther, Clutter
integration adn publication via e-mail
are the most important changes. I am
almost proud of it. I will be when it is
1.0, I hope.
August, 11, 2005 - [ CC
TechnoBlog ] Awaiting
some new release of some new product and
maybe some new project or maybe even more
than one, I have started a new place to
rant. A Blog, so to say. I will try not
to make this a habit.
June, 26, 2005 - Time for that
summer feeling.
June, 5, 2005 - Minor updates to
the site.
April, 17, 2005 - [ CCTunes ]

welcome.

[ Fosdem
Review ] and
added a [ New Famous
CC ].
February, 3, 2005 - Updated
[ CCTunes-site ]
with links to upcoming [ fosdem
event ] and
added a new [ Famous CC ]. It was
about time, I was getting complaints of
letting the christmas spirit linguer.
Next week I am going on a [ Cocoa
Training ].
Yippeee!
January, 24, 2005 - [ CCTunes ]
Version 0.5.1 is out. Bugfixes are there.
But the version of yesterday was
zerolinked and only worked on my own
computer. Sorry....
January, 23, 2005 - [ CCTunes ]
Version 0.5 is out. Major new features,
including a new style, better sorting and
updated documentation, with feedback
possibilities. Please mind the
[ known
bugs ] for now.
They will be fixed soon.
December, 26, 2004 - What a nice
christmas present! The website has been
renewed. Now with a scrollbar licensed
from [ dyn-web ]
for better and more beautiful
multi-browser scrollbars. The picture is
referring to the season here in Belgium:
cold. More to come...
December, 5, 2004 - [ Famous
CC ] So, this
is Christmas. What have you done? Another
year over, And a new one's begun. Not
without a [ Famous CC like
Christmas Carols! ]. Twinkle
those stars! Celebrating a year of
coin-c.com! First 5 mailers that send
mail to congratulations at coin-c.com
will receive a gmail account. Are there
still people without one?

enhancements, added preferences for
CCTunes, added the oldest ever Famous CC,
changed mouse overs for the website menu,
etc...

[ XML
Starlet ] for xml
generation and has database format that
is made out of various smaller XML files
instead of one bigger one.
November, 5, 2004 - [ Knoppix ]
Youhou!!! A new project. It's late and
I've been working on this and I want to
get it online. It needs some reviews, it
might not be complete and it may have
severe spelling errors in it, but for now
it will do. This is my resolution for the
next year: keep this document in a fit
state. And this is my first throw at it.
To be precise, it's a reincarnation of
something that has been online but hidden
since a year now. It's public now, let
the robots index it!
October, 4, 2004 - [ CCTunes ]
A bugfix. When CCTunes was in a path with
a space in it, the script was broken.
September, 29, 2004 - [ CCTunes ]
Fixed a bug. Added a testsuite so that it
should not happen again that something
untested becomes online. Never say never
though.
September, 28, 2004 - [ CCTunes ]
The name change has happened. It's taken
longer than expected, but it's there now:
CCTunes! Also had some language remarks
taken into account on the index page.
September, 3, 2004 - Website is
now generate from xml files and uses more
css. Hopefully this will allow for easier
editing from my side and more features
for the audience. As a first feature, you
can already browse the older Famous CC's.
Also, there is a new [ Famous
CC ]. I
realize it is best viewed with Mozilla,
since other browsers sometimes show ugly
scroll bars. I will look into this
later.
August, 16, 2004 - [ itunes2html ]
Major change: added a Cocoa wrapper as
explained at [ cocoadevcentral ]
for easier usage. The name of the
application is now temporarily
itunes2html-cocoa, but that's not a good
name. Well, not that iTunes2HTML is, it
conflicts with an already existing perl
script that does the same. A name change
is imminent...
July, 8, 2004 - Website
restructured into separate files.
July, 5, 2004 - [ Famous
CC ] Meet CC
Babcock.
July, 5, 2004 - [ itunes2html ]
Minor changes: added GPL license
statement on disk images and improved the
layout of the published library. Made a
new clearer overview index page.

self contained package.
May, 31, 2004 - [ Famous
CC ]
New famous CC. Welcome to the Cocos
Islands!

reorganized a bit. The history section
was eliminated because not really
interesting, and this news section came
instead.
March, 8, 2004 - [ itunes2html ]
Minor update.
February, 24, 2004 - [ itunes2html ]
Initial publication. It should allow you
to create a nice online publication of
your whole iTunes library without too
much hastle. It's based on XSLT, my pet
technology of the moment.
February, 23, 2004 - [ fosdem
review ] Fosdem
is the Free and Open Source meeting,
which is in Brussels. Lots of geeks like
me.
January, 30, 2004 - Update website
so that it renders better on different
browsers. It should show scroll bars too
when there is too much text.
January, 1, 2004 - New year, new
resolutions. This website is one of
them.
